Finding Common Threads in a Common Fold

 

Susan Brandeis is Distinguished Professor Emerita following a 35–year teaching and research career at North Carolina State University’s College of Design, where she was a member of the University’s Academy of Outstanding Teachers. She holds a Master of Science degree in Art Education from Indiana University and a Master of Fine Arts in Textile Design from the University of Kansas. Her artwork has been pictured in leading publications in the field, exhibited throughout the world, and represented in numerous private and public collections, including the Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian. She is a three-time recipient of artist fellowships from the North Carolina Department of Cultural Resources.
